cruft software package provides program that finds any cruft built up on your system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cruft
cruft is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cruft package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cruft *
You will get with cruft package name, version, architecture and description in a table
